Membership vs. Secretary of State.

In September 2004 after convening our state convention the British Reformed Sectarian Party adopted the following membership requirement,

ARTICLE III: Membership.

Membership of the British Reformed Sectarian Party shall consist
of all registered voters under the laws of the State of Florida
who have declared their party affiliation with the BRS Party by
filing the appropriate paperwork with their Supervisor of Elections
and who are not of African-American descent and are practicing
Christians as determined by the BRS Party State Executive
Committee. See Kelly v. Oliver, 826 So.2d 317, PCA, (2002),
Florida 5th Disctrict Court of Appeals affirmation that political
parties are private, voluntary associations who have a First
Amendment right to determine their own membership. Non-BRS
party members including Secretary of State see Kelly v. Harris, 331 F.3d 817, (2003), regarding your lack of standing.

Pursuant to our party rules and Florida Statute we then filed our constitution and by-laws with the Secretary Of State.
